What information is needed for a piano move quote?

What type of piano is being moved? (Upright, Grand, or Console? Estimated size. The pick up and delivery addresses. Any stairs, turns or landings, inside or outside of both locations. Requested move date. Any special needs or circumstances
Will my piano need to be tuned after being moved?

Pianos DO need tuning after moving, but it is recommended to wait approximately one week after the move before tuning, so the piano can settle to the temperature of the new space, and allow for changes in atmosphere, humidity, etc. to resolve for the longest lasting result.
Do I need to purchase additional insurance before moving a piano?
